What this is

Infrastructure as Code with Terraform teaches you to describe servers, networks and services as version-controlled code. You will write configurations, use providers and variables, manage state safely, build reusable modules and fit Terraform into a team workflow with code review and automated plans.

It assumes basic familiarity with a cloud provider and the command line. It is not an official HashiCorp exam-prep course, awards no certification and does not promise a cloud or DevOps job. Practising on a real cloud account may incur provider charges, which you control.

What you will be able to do

  • Write Terraform configurations with resources, variables and outputs
  • Manage and protect Terraform state, including remote backends
  • Build and reuse modules across environments
  • Plan and apply changes safely with review
  • Integrate Terraform into a CI workflow
